Balancing School, and Infinite Flight
I’ve been meaning to make this article for a while, though school has taken over, and I’ve not been able to write. With the school year winding down for many Americans and other countries, finals are approaching, along with standardized testing, leading to less time to write.
The promise we made to have daily articles out every day was a mistake at the time. I had free time unlike anything; I was flying a bunch, writing articles, and working a lot on Infinite Flight and unrelated real-life commitments. I put effort into two-plus hours of writing each day to deliver the content that people expect.
After my spring break and dedicating much of my day to The Touchdown Zone/Infinite Flight Herald, I started not to do homework, not study for tests, and being unable to focus on school. I forgot what matters most at a younger age—just being a kid while it lasts and concentrating on getting grades that can take me places in life. I talked with some teachers and decided that I would stop writing articles for some time and catch up on school work.
This brings me to today; I am officially declaring that until more writers join the team, I will be doing weekly articles for the Infinite Flight Herald. When the pieces come is unknown due to availability and knowing schedules for the week. However, I’ve promised myself that we will not die again. Thanks for reading.
